Creating the conditions for a gathering here at home – called Croí 8 (meaning heart in Irish & the 8… you’ll have to wait and see!)…
It is dawning on me how right this is for this time, for me and for this place and for my family…. you see we home-educate and are pretty much self taught artists and food growers – and I can see how natural that all really is.
Since being in Inishowen, I’ve initiated projects (like Inishowen Summer Gathering, Celebrate Water, Inishowen Kindergarten) with some amazing people who live here. And then when our young family lost our house in a house fire, I allowed for the trauma to clear and in the process found time to create the life of my dreams and now I source from dreams with joy!
With a family and all that goes with it, I know how important joy is and how the practical follows with ease when joy is central . So presenting this foundation course on Cultural Emergence from the place I am in (most importantly – the place I am in within myself) is easy – I just need to ensure the word gets out to those who’d love it too!
